Countering Consumerism
VIDEO DESIGN + MARKETING CAMPAIGN
This project was developed in collaboration with the Institute for Environmental Sustainability at Mount Royal University. Contestants were required to create a video less than 30 seconds, that helps raise awareness of any of the various problems associated with Fast Fashion and encourage more mindful consumption. Within this campaign, I created three video ads that exemplified different ways we can help direct attention to the Fast Fashion epidemic. My “Better” campaign videos touched on topics that evoke consumer ethos and hoped to garner support to the reductions of consumerism, and was marketing on the social media platform, Instagram. My campaign was successful in the contest and my video "Be Better” was awarded 3rd place overall!
