Vÿb Soda
BRANDING + MARKETING
Our goal for this project was to brand a Canadian-based artisanal soda company. To achieve this we researched marketing insights about our chosen demographic, developed a complete brand strategy and brand identity and designed social media impressions using Instagram and Twitter as our main platforms. Through ideation, we developed our spokescharacter Fizz, chose Influencers that accurately represented the brand, and designed a logo that embodies our artisanal dreams, and a new brand was created.
This project was executed with three additional MRU students.
Brand Identity
We wanted our brand to exemplify the unique flavours we developed. We found that the variations of purple were most effective in representing out mostly floral flavour palette as well as it meshed well with the neutral colours of the classic Cola flavour. The graphics created were meant to give the customer the impression of the flavours within the soda, while also being vague enough that the customer might be intrigued by the mystery of the flavour and want to try it. The quotes on the back of the bottle were meant to create a whimsical effect to the customer and be a unique factor to the brand that makes Vÿb stand out.

Marketing Campaign
Instagram and Twitter were our main contributors to our marketing strategy. We found that our target audience of adventure seekers and those who like to support a local business were active more on social media and responded to those ads more than traditional ads like magazines and TV ads.
